    Sitting in my favourite spot this morning I realiz Sitting in my favourite spot this morning I realized that the last time I was here I had two extra spirits with me.

When people ask me what I’ve been up to I’m never sure how to answer. I’ve never been a small talker but the alternative right now is too much. Working on myself and working through the loss seems like a never ending task, one that I feel like I’ve been at forever. The fact that it’s only been 3 months seems both too long and too short. It’s dizzying to think about.

So what have I been up to? A lot of therapy, a lot of sleep, a lot of time spent with doctors and other practitioners, a lot of time alone, a lot of time with my husband and friends. We’ve also travelled to PEI and around Ontario with our little family.

The next time we see one another I’d love to dive deep into a conversation about something you love. Surface level and talking about myself just isn’t me anymore.
