THE OG THREE I legitimately think these two are h THE OG THREE

I legitimately think these two are having a competition to see who can be the first to break me.

Thankful for them, the sun peaking its nose out today and of course our newest addition. She won’t join in their fun when she’s older will she? I can hope right?

Looking at this photo almost makes me wish I was s Looking at this photo almost makes me wish I was still pregnant. Almost.

If you know me, you will know how hilarious that statement is. I was not a happy or comfortable person throughout the entire pregnancy with V.

It also turns out, my body also likes to stay pregnant as long as possible. I tried everything to induce labour. EVERYTHING. Applying Clary Sage to my ankles was one of the only things, aside from @phitphysiomeg acupuncture that worked.

What did you try to bring on labour?
    D O U L A This week is world doula week and this D O U L A

This week is world doula week and this beautiful human was my doula!

I knew after my first birth there was something missing and if I ever had a second baby I would need a doula. Jenn was my friend first and I was lucky enough to have her along for my pregnancy and labour ride.

Jenn got me through 3 weeks of prodomal labour and brought calm to the chaos of intense labour when it finally happened. She got me through the pain and talked with me through the night while Matt rested. She empowered me to make all of the right decisions and stayed with me until I was wheeled into the OR. She even held my puke bucket.

I know our experience, especially during these times would have been much different without Jenn by our side.

Doulas are an incredible resource that I think should be mandatory in all births.

Did you use a doula?

A couple of weeks ago I was craving a nutrient boost so I decided to jump on the celery juice bandwagon. I know, I know, I’m late following the “trends”.

High in nutrients and antioxidants, celery juice is also good for hydration, something I need as a nursing mama.

Have you tried celery juice? What did you think?

A year ago I took a positive pregnancy test. A ye A year ago I took a positive pregnancy test.

A year ago I was training clients in their homes and teaching classes in person.

A year ago I was planning what activities H would do on March break and how he would celebrate his birthday with friends.

So much has changed in just 365 days but we have changed and adapted and added a new little member to our home.

Do you remember what you were doing a year ago?
SNOW DAY I dropped this little nugget off at fore SNOW DAY

I dropped this little nugget off at forest school this morning into a winter wonderland. I think I might be more excited than he is.

What could be better than spending a day in fresh air with new friends learning all the things? Maybe driving back alone enjoying a hot coffee without a baby or incessant questions from an almost 6 yo.

Tell me in the comments how you are spending today.

P.S. this photo was taken on a wagon ride one week after having a c-section. I do not recommend 😂

This little bean is refusing to sleep. Working with a little one isn’t easy, especially when both of us are self-employed.

So today I take calls while I walk and she begrudgingly side eyes me.
