Nourishing Deodorant DIY

One of the first things I changed when I was pregnant was eliminating super toxic antiperspirant from my life. I tried every “natural” deodorant I could find and while I liked a few of them I found sooner or later they became ineffective.

This recipe has nourishing shea butter to keep your underarms moisturized, antibacterial coconut oil and essential oils to keep you smelling great!

Ingredients:

2 tbsp Shea Butter
2 tbsp Coconut Oil
2 tbsp Arrowroot Powder (or non-GMO Corn Starch)
2 tbsp Alunimum free Baking Soda
10 – 30 drops Essential Oils (optional)

Instructions:

Melt the shea butter and coconut oil in a double boiler (or the microwave). Stir in the dry ingredients. After it cools, add 10-30 drops of your favourite essential oils

To Use:

Rub a pea sized amount into underarms.
